Study in Dubai For Indian Students: Admission Requirements

- Four Passport copies
- A valid passport
- Admission Offer Letter received from UAE university.
- If a student does not have a rent agreement, he/she must obtain a letter from the college indicating that he/she will reside in university accommodation.

- Post-graduate students need to provide evidence of their undergraduate degree.
- Once the candidate arrives in Dubai, he must undergo a medical exam at an authorised medical facility. A medical and chest X-ray is often performed to screen for HIV, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, Leprosy, Syphilis, and Tuberculosis.
Note : If any of these tests are positive, students will be deported, except for Syphilis, which is treatable.

Tests Required to Study in Dubai
IELTS
IELTS is the world’s most well-known English language competence test. For Indian students, taking the entire exam costs 17,000 rupees. It assesses the candidate’s English language skills across four levels: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Prominent UAE colleges require an IELTS score of 6.5 out of 9.
TOEFL
The TOEFL is another prominent English language competency exam. Unlike IELTS, TOEFL is graded on a scale of 0 to 120, with 30 points awarded for each component. Although minimal scores vary by the institute, TOEFL scores ranging from 60 to 80 are deemed suitable for Dubai Universities.
PTE
Besides the well-known IELTS and TOEFL, Pearson now offers the PTE English proficiency exam. The test is divided into three portions, and candidates must pay an application fee of 13,700 INR. Although most universities prefer IELTS and TOEFL, Middlesex University, University of Birmingham, and others require an overall PTE score of 51.

To Study In Dubai, you need to obtain a student Visa, which is a permit that allows you to stay & study in Dubai. But before you move ahead with student visa types, there are certain things that you need to consider to prove your eligibility:
- Overseas students should apply for a student visa to study at a local university or an internationally-authorised school in Dubai.
- The student visa procedure typically takes a few weeks (7-14 working days). However, it is crucial to begin the application as soon as possible.
- International students must apply for a Dubai student visa after being admitted to a university or institution.
- The application will request basic information regarding a student’s educational history and study plans in Dubai.
- International students will also have to provide proof of financial assistance. Furthermore, they must give a copy of their passport.
- After the student visa is approved, they can start their studies in Dubai.
- Students with a study visa in Dubai can work part-time while pursuing their education.
An international student can apply for three different student visa types depending on their study requirements. These are:
- Sponsored By Family Visa Type: This visa type is available for students whose parents are permanent residents of Dubai. In such a scenario, the student can get a visa which is sponsored or supported by his/her family member. But to get this visa type, the male students must be less than 18 years of age, but there is no such limit for female candidates.
- Sponsored By Educator Visa Type: Another visa type that a student can avail or apply to is the sponsor by the educator. For such a visa approval, the student needs support from the educational institution or the university where he/she is planning to pursue their higher education.
- Student Visa For Short-Term Courses: This visa is applicable for students who are looking to pursue a short-term course in Dubai which is valid for up to 60 days. However, depending on the course requirements the tenure of the visa can be extended on special requests.
